Excellent lock, stylish design. I leave my bike hanging on a bike rack outside while I'm at work and it seems to me that no one could cut it with bolt cutters or a hacksaw. Even with an angle grinder, it's probably going to take a lot of work to cut through this bad boy.

Like many of you, I've been trying to decide between a Kryptonite lock and a lock from another company. I chose to use this instead of the 18mm fahgettaboudit mini crypto lock as it is only 1mm thinner around the U and half the weight. Love the solid feel and the work they put into the design, it doesn't look like a U-lock... I used to use Kryptonite but had trouble with the keys/locking mechanism. Mason has keys that look like my car keys, run buttery smooth and feel like they will last forever... Definitely recommended if you are looking for high security combined with low weight and great design.

This is a HEAVY castle the size of a MONSTER. Mine came without any hardware to attach it to my bike (the mount is shown in the seller's photos and is mentioned in many reviews). Because of its massive size, it doesn't fit well with an adult Schwinn hybrid bike. In order to be mobile, it must be placed in a backpack, travel backpack or rear trunk. It was a great lock for me. Much lighter and less bulky than my previous Sold Secure Silver lock. I'm sure the plastic cover helps prevent freezing. It's still a U-lock so it could still be vulnerable to a bottle jack if a thief fits it in the slot, but it's fairly small so can be tricky. I think it will be quite resistant to hand tool attacks.
