My daughter is 45# and about 48 tall, she is in 2nd grade and she gets cold very quickly, her lips turn blue and she has to get out of the water to warm up. I bought a size 4 for my son who will be 5 next month. He is 43 pounds and 43 inches tall. His legs and arms are too long and I have to roll them up. However, it seems ok without losing the function of the wetsuit. It's nice and thick and it's a super bargain for the price! My daughter, who will be 7 in 2 months, also fits a size 4 suit and the length suits her much better. She also weighs 43 pounds but is 48 inches tall.
