Keeps skinny kids warm!

My daughter is 45# and about 48 tall, she is in 2nd grade and she gets cold very quickly, her lips turn blue and she has to get out of the water to warm up. This wetsuit will keep them happy for hours. It's a little loose but seems to fit much better than other suits I've tried. The zips make it easy to get on and off, the back zip has a nice flap that covers the top of the zip and drawstring. It's so high quality I can't believe it's so cheap. We had a whole summer of use with no signs of…

Great wetsuit at a great price but lasts a long time

I bought a size 4 for my son who will be 5 next month. He is 43 pounds and 43 inches tall. His legs and arms are too long and I have to roll them up. However, it seems ok without losing the function of the wetsuit. It's nice and thick and it's a super bargain for the price! My daughter, who will be 7 in 2 months, also fits a size 4 suit and the length suits her much better. She also weighs 43 pounds but is 48 inches tall. I hope this information helps with sizing questions.

Good quality but very tight fit

My daughter is very petite (52 lbs, 49 inches) and usually wears a size 7-8 although she is almost 10. However, I had to pay attention to reviews because the size 8 I bought her was too big. Also being small for her age I was hesitant to buy her a 10 which would be very difficult to roll up due to the zippers on the legs. shaking her in and couldn't do it and my friend assured me that once she got wet it would be almost impossible to get it out of her. I had to return it. The fabric was very…

Fits snugly keeps water out

Fits as expected but I ordered two different sizes just to be sure and my younger one is super super slim but I have to say the measurements were perfect. The wetsuit kept her warm and stayed there as long as she wanted; didn't complain. It also dries quickly if you follow the recommendations/advice on the web. Didn't have to sweat at all; Simply wash and dry overnight (inside out) in the bathroom at 70 degrees Fahrenheit (outside temperature of course, rooms are a little cooler with the air…

LOVE - perfect fit for slim kids, high quality, nice details

Purchased 8 years old Size 10; You're 52 inches tall and weigh 66 pounds (lots of leg muscle from the gym). This wetsuit has little room to grow and is built for slim kids; This would not be a good brand for my 6 year old husky (48 inches and 72 pounds). The suit is comfortable and warm; Note that these are 2/3 suits with thinner neoprene in certain areas (swatches) to improve movement/flexibility (typical of thicker wetsuits). Lots of thoughtful details in the construction of the wetsuit…

Great for the Oregon Coast in August

Helped my skinny boys boogie board in Oregon just like I boogie boarded in my teens in the warm Atlantic Ocean off Virginia Beach. Well, they still couldn't last that long, but I don't think the water could endure without them. not too childish for our almost 12 year old who gets easily embarrassed these days. The zippers on the ankles and the Velcro in the neck are great! Both children are low weight levels: for a boy of almost 12 (almost 5ft, 75lbs), size 12 is ideal and will likely stretch…

Great wetsuit! - Scuba Diving and Snorkeling

I'm a real person and this is a real review. It will be a long time coming as I am really excited about this wetsuit. As others have pointed out this is a very well made wetsuit. My granddaughter is very thin and cannot stay long in the pool because she is very cold and needs a hot shower after swimming to warm up. Today we received the wetsuit and she swam in the pool for hours and made great progress in swimming. I have a happy little girl. She said that now I can swim with my cousins and not

Do a good trick!

My tiny, petite daughter, not an ounce of fat, was about to leave the swim team even though she loves to swim. But without significant physical reserves and the temperature of the cold water required for swimming laps in training, it became too much. In other words, she loves sports physically but hates the cold that comes with it. She had blue lips, trembled and sometimes cried after an hour of practice. But such a good swimmer and I didn't want to see her go. On a whim I looked around for…
