I didn’t want to drill into my cabinets, so I installed these on the cabinets under my kitchen sink using the adhesive provided. The adhesive stuck to the metal just fine, but the magnet was so strong, when I pulled the knob to open the cabinet, it pulled the bracket off the cabinet. So, if I want to make this work, I need some screws. The ones included are too small and simply slip through the holes in the metal.

I really like these, but only gave them 4 out of 5 stars because of the adhesive which actually worked well at first. I put this on all of my kitchen cabinets because they are older and don’t close very well anymore. The magnets are super strong and we are finally able to have our cabinets close. It is easy to install, but the adhesion only lasted for a few weeks unfortunately. To make it really work you need to drill it in the doors. I still like them but would have wanted stronger adhesive.

Works perfectly to hold a drawer closed. This drawer kept sliding open, but there was just a very slim space to attach anything. This little catch fits just right.

Updating reviewing as seller made it right. I had issues with the set I initially had and the stickiness of it, but the seller reached out and made it right. If you are going to screw them in then they are great and are super handy to have.

Magnets are glued with pretty small amount of glue: on installing, two from four catches become unusable. Really low and cheap "Chinese grade" quality! Don't buy, you're warned!

It's a strong magnet, worth the minimal cost. Perhaps too strong for just a cupboard door. Adhesive held for first two days. However, both screw heads broke off the flat plate side on first closure. Yes, I drilled starter holes I would like to like the product, but now I have broken screws in the original holes so I will have to move the location and buy my own stronger screws.

I needed a thin magnetic latch for a slide out destroy I was refinishing. This fit the bill. I only needed to chisel out o very shallow notch for the magnet part and everything worked perfectly. The latch was a needed addition so the top would stay closed when being moved - otherwise it would flip up and down, generally smashing fingers. Not any more!

Locate before install commitment. It will pull of laminate if you try to move it. The magnet separates from the plate, looks like a glue issue. Other than that it is functional and will help your hinges in the long run.

These worked out perfect for me. A few seconds to install, came with the perfect size screws, and the magnet holds really well

The first package we purchased worked beautifully. The adhesive stickers for were a clear gel and provided a very secure bond. The second package we purchased (a different employee's order, but using the same link, if that's relevant) was in the same packing/same hinges, but the adhesive stickers were of a completely different material - more akin to a card stock with adhesive sprayed on both sides. The bond on the second set is far less secure and several have broken.I do see in the item text…

Bought early August, installed with adhesive a few weeks ago and everything worked well. Went to permanently install this morning and found a magnet cracked and crumbling. To late to return but not to late to warn folks.

Product and magnet seem fine, however, the included screws are cheap. Ok I changed the screws and the magnets are secure and holding great. I had two shear off during installation.

I purchased these to keep my small wine cooler from coming open. I have a small wine cooler that I keep kids' drinks and water. The kids sometimes push to t close the fridge, but they don't close it all the way, or it pops open when they push it too hard. This solves this issue. When the door gets pushed closed, it remains closed, and you have to apply a bit of force to open it. Not hard to open, but just enough to keep it secure.

Magnetic catch exceeded my needs, but I was disappointed with the finish on the pieces. Looks like manufacturers made no effort to get a smooth finish on the edges. They were somewhat pitted along the edge. Magnet did their job well. Adhesive made it easy to place on cabinet before applying screws. Overall great cabinet magnet and I purchased 2 more sets.

Our cupboards are older and not built to standard, and these were just the right fix to keep the doors from swinging open.

This was my choice, among numerous options, for catches for kitchen cabinets. These allow for some variations of how the pieces are positioned. The magnet is strong. I'm satisfied & ordered these a second time to finish the project .Shipping/delivery was quick.

These are perfect in my kitchen and bathrooms where my twin toddlers roam and like to open the drawers and cabinets. Thanks for attention.

Adhesion, one star: I don't care for the adhesive application because I don't believe it will prove durable but I don't know that. Therefore, I would prefer the use the screws.Installation, one star: The screw holes for the angled plate are too distant from the striker end making it impossible to insert the screws into a 3/4 inch cabinet frame.All of my cabinets have 3/4 inch thickness frames. Using to secure the doors to a new planting bench. Easy to install and just the right pull for my application. The adhesive may become weak over time and lead to ineffective catches!
