Holds very tight for my opinion

I just took the back screw to use with another plastic holder and combination was wonderful: thumbler doesn’t fall and doesn’t scratch cause new holder is plastic.

  • Works well with regular 20 oz plastic bottles

  • The cage may rattle during rides, causing a distraction for the rider

It is a good durable product

My son got it for his bike. It is a good durable product. It could be better if the part that attaches to the bike can swivels so it can be attach to any other part of the bike.

Pros
  • Being able to adjust the size for the bottle is very helpful.

  • The cage may not securely hold the water bottle in bumpy terrain

You may need a different handlebar mount, but the cage is nice

This seems to be a well-made item. With a bit of careful pulling (in addition to the screw adjustment), the cage can be opened up enough to hold just about any water bottle, while also remaining small enough at its fully closed position to hold a standard bike bottle securely. This item's one fault is the handlebar mount, which apparently was built under the assumptions that all handlebars are the same diameter and that 2 metal surfaces rubbing together won't result in one of them being…

Easy solution to our problem

I bought this for my son’s bike because there is no place on his frame to mount a water bottle cage. We mounted this cage to his handle bars and he is very happy with the results. Now he does not have to carry his bottle in a backpack when he goes for a ride.

Very adjustable, perfectly fits a 16oz energy drink, strong plastic and aluminum. Handlebar mount is helpful for long rides without stopping.

Size adjustable is very convenient

unlike rigid bike cage, this design fits well and can adjust size for my favorite water bottle.Note this cage recommend only plastic water bottle, stating metal bottle may fall off.
