Great tail light. Be sure.

This taillight replaces the one I lost when I fell off my bike. I tried to see if it was available, but I knew I wanted it. It was quick and easy to connect to the app. Great light with variable brightness and twinkle style.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Functionality

Barely lasted 30 days.

Barely lasted 30 days. I have used the taillight for over 30 days and was very happy but then it stopped connecting to my bluetooth which is essential for it to work properly. Even the manual switch stopped working. Now it's useless. Not a very good value. Dissatisfied.

Pros
  • Great for a small home

Stylish, good battery life, not very bright

I like the light and it holds a charge for multiple trips. I'm just surprised it's not very bright for the price. There are flashlights half the price like the (ugly) Cygolite that are much brighter. Therefore, the price/brightness ratio only allows me to award 3 stars.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • There are cons

Product fails after a month

The light was great for the first few weeks. After about 20 uses/charges, the light will not turn on. When the device is connected to the network, a green indicator will light up to indicate charging, but no matter how long you leave it connected to the network, the indicator will not light up. My guess is that the battery is dead and won't charge. I would not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Mediocre lens and limited ANT capabilities

For daytime visibility, the 125 lumens are far less useful than the 50 lumens My Bone Cygolite has in a smaller body. Probably works great around town at night. But on a country road I prefer my Cygolite. I'm hoping the new ICON2 solves this issue as I pre-ordered it and their new Beam light. Also, the ANT+ connection only works with 1 light source at a time. So if you have an ACE front light, you cannot connect it at the same time.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Operating speed

They all fail after just a few months

A total of 6 ACE units (front and rear) failed in just a few months of daily use 2-3 times a week. I agreed to return these devices so they could identify the problem (most likely the battery) but they didn't agree. So far they've only replaced one of the failed devices and their support team doesn't even reply to my most recent emails. If the light doesn't work then flimsy mounts and horrible software have nothing to do with it. My recent failed units are N105226 front and C111811 rear.

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Protection

bright, poorly designed bracket falls off

This flashlight has several advantages - a large light area and good side visibility. However, the battery life is shorter than other comparable flashlights - 3-5 days of operation without recharging. A deal breaker for me is a terrible mount with such a flimsy mount that the light tends to fall off after hitting a bump. This has happened to me a few times and I went back to find the light but lost it for good a few days ago. I love my See Sense Icon+ taillight, but this light is full of…

  • Impressive

  • Not everything fits
