Great for drawing!

Bought this apron for a hobby! Painting! Perfect! It protects my clothes and even washes out old acrylic paint for a day or two. The main reason I chose this particular apron was because it crossed my back and the strap didn't sit around my neck! No provoked migraines! Hooray!

It is waterproof, but it will leak water if it is in contact with water for a long time.

I like the overall design and the fact that it's made of cotton instead of plastic. I've tried it and I like it. I would not recommend it for intensive dishwashing. My guess is that because it is cotton it will naturally absorb some water or moisture, although it is waterproof (if contact with water or moisture is too long). I recommend it for informal dining and for places where some humidity is to be expected due to cooking. Also, it works well with other chemicals and fats.

Great apron! Best in Aprons

First of all, this apron arrived a day earlier than expected, which is always nice. I wasted no time in going into the studio to try it out and I'm very glad I did. The thick material is definitely brown in color (e.g. cardboard or carhart) which is perfect for me as a ceramic artist and educator as I will be using and mixing with different types of clay. I also like the utilitarian look. I didn't know how much I would appreciate a cross-tie until I tried it. It really takes the pressure off…
