The most comfortable saddle for cycling

As with all saddles, it only takes a few minutes to fit and adjust. I had a factory seat on my hybrid track, it's more comfortable.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Very comfortable perfect for a big guy like me

Very good fit I'm a big guy who loves to ride and I can ride for hours with little discomfort. I take it on camping trips and the seat is a bit heavy, but the light parts don't bother me since I'm 300 pounds.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Interchangeable

The best place! Best in Cycling

Just received my new Selle Royal Avenue bike seat and I'm already 100% satisfied. The only thing I'll have to wait to rate it is its durability, but I'm sure of that too. I installed it on my hybrid bike that I use for city commuting, there are a lot of cracks and bumps and the comfort is amazing. My last seat was a moderate lookin model from the same company and in my opinion this is a big step forward. So don't wait, go ahead!

Pros
  • Few competitors

Easily installed and adjusted. You can also buy a clip for a shell.

I have a Selle Royal Avenue saddle on my Mt and Hybrid bikes (Trek Mamba and Trek Dual Sport). My wife also has a saddle on a Trek bike. One seat has about 5,000 miles with minimal wear and the other about 800 miles. Easily installed and adjusted. You can also purchase a clip on a clamshell bag that attaches securely to the back of the saddle. For most regular drivers, the stock seat is very hard and uncomfortable. Selle Royal is the perfect compromise.

Good cushion for the tush

This guy is pretty good at short distance work but after a while you need to take a break. The extra padding in the seat helps the cushion fit better than the stock seat (who the hell thought those guys didn't need a seat cushion?). I installed it on my mountain bike and now I get much better comfort. But it's not a lazy fight, so be aware that if you're going to take this seat for a long trip, and while you can ride it a little longer, you'll still dismount, warm up and get blood back in your…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Something different

Appearances can be deceiving

This replaced the Planet Bike Anatomic Relief (ARS) seat which I really liked and was very comfortable. This seat disintegrated after about 18 months from sun and rain so I decided to give it a try as the material wicks water better. While time will tell its durability, its comfort leaves a lot to be desired. This surprises me as the gel feels very soft on the inside and its general appearance suggests it is less sporty and more comfortable than the ARS seat. Maybe it's just the fit for my…
