🚲 The Ultimate Comfort and Support: Selle Royal Freeway Moderate Saddle Review

These are amazing seats my second purchase. They make a big difference from the hard saddles found on most bikes. I use this on my Scott 29er hardtail and my wife's Trek 26er hardtail. No regrets, good quality, looks good on the bike and does exactly what it's supposed to.

I've been riding the Ellipse Selle Royal range for many years but wanted to try a slightly different look so I booked the Freeway. It's comfortable and a little softer than the Ellipse. But the fabric is different, and it doesn't look like it's as water-resistant or durable. I've used Armor Alled to improve water resistance, but I bet my first shed will rip the seat.

Only ridden a few miles on this saddle but I like where the sit bones are. Given that about 10 miles is my longest trip, this should usually work fine for me. The sporty unisex is wider than the 20-year-old Specialized body geometry it replaced. FYI I'm not a Clydesdale, but I'm not skinny either, I'm a man too; It's about fit. Lastly, the $12 Selle Royal made it a no-brainer since I needed a new saddle.
