Love this saddle fit for sport

Yes its expensive but worth it. I actually have two, one for mountain biking and one for road biking. Like many reviewers, I tried several saddles in different price ranges. Nobody solved my tailbone pain problem. With saddle saddles, the load is on your sit bones, so that the tailbone "floats" for lack of a better description and is therefore not affected when riding. Expensive but worth the money

My last seat was the Selle Max Flight Gel Flow which lasted 10 years and was very comfortable. I drove it so many miles that I punctured the leather and had to buy a new one. I figured it wouldn't be a problem to just buy the same seat, but the new models had different geometry and after 10km I was ready to get off of it. Then I tried the Specialized Phenom which was ok but not quite the same as my last one. After reading so many good reviews about the SMP, I bought it. I hated paying the price

Strong yet very comfortable saddle

I bought a Selle SMP Avant for my Specialized gravel bike. I used a Selle Italia gel flow man saddle which was fine up to about 3000 miles. The gel softened and I had soft tissue compression and discomfort within 2-3 hours of riding. The SMP Avant is much stronger but not uncomfortable at all. After about five 30 mile rides I have no discomfort or pain. The saddle looks well made and is quite easy to mount on the bike with the included instructions. Although the saddle is quite expensive, it is
