Durable strong screw. No marriage

Reliable value for money. Used to eliminate squeaking of a plywood floor prior to laying on a wooden floor. Worked flawlessly with the Metabo HPT SuperDrive, another back rescue device that got the project up and running quickly with much less sweating and sore leg and back muscles. Both made an excellent combination.

Same complaint as others.

The complaint is the same as the others. The threads do not reach the top of the screw, preventing the screw from sinking into the base. If you try to rotate it, it just rotates in place. You'll have to push the screw left or right to get it out, if it comes out at all. In many cases the head simply broke off.

Screws fit me fine

I bought these screws with a bit of concern based on another unfavorable review. The skepticism turned out to be unfounded. I used them to attach a 3/4 inch MDF backing to a 2 inch thick pine board. They worked great. In a thousand maybe three or four of my heads got blown off. Square heads are securely installed. The few times they didn't work properly I put it down to operator error, perhaps too greedy to run too fast. I don't know why they didn't work for the other reviewer. Maybe he got a…

Senco A+ screwdrivers, their screws. not so much

Senco pistol is great but screws are missing. The thread is not intended for laying on a subfloor. The top quarter of the screw is unthreaded. So if you don't get anything underneath, the screw won't fully retract. After going through the box with it, I bought some Grip Rite brand screws from Home Depot and they turned out to be a lot better. They transition to a fine thread at the top of the screw to ensure maximum holding power and prevent the screw head from slipping out in the future. They…

Must be screwed in fairly straight

I used these screws with a Senco screwdriver to fasten 3/4" plywood to wall studs in my new workshop and to cabinets and shelves over plywood walls fasten (10 foot ceilings). I have never used an automatic screwdriver but was very impressed. You have to get used to that somehow. You almost have to screw it straight. Do not be shy. Once you start, keep going. If that doesn't finish the job, just move on to the next one and come back with another screwdriver to finish it. I turned over 1000…
