Not quite the right caliber.

A little big for 14g. My wire stripper measured them at about 13. I didn't lace the entire wheel, and the black paint on the hub chipped easily when trying to press a spoke into place. Also, the nipples weren't SW-0 like I expected for a 14g spoke. They were SW-1, IIRC. So they're not perfect, but got me back on the trail and still seem like acceptable value for money.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some flaws

Cheap steel failed on commute

After a few hundred miles of commuting I started getting spoke failures. Careful examination of the fracture sites (directly at the bend at the end of the hub) reveals contamination causing fatigue failure. I've replaced broken spokes with new ones from the same batch, carefully checked spoke tension etc. and faced constant fatigue failures. I do not recommend using this spoke for anything other than lightweight wheels that can be used infrequently.

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Almost OK

EASY TO CUT - Cyclic

If you are having trouble using the Hozan needle threader (even the 2nd/new version) on 2mm stainless steel needles this is for you. They are a little narrower, so the needle threader works without any problems. Don't worry about the color, it won't withstand the pressure of the carving. I don't know what you would do in a humid climate, but I don't have this problem. Maybe your next larger needle threader will work with 2mm stainless steel needles, but it's going to be an expensive experiment.

Quality control issues - sizes vary slightly

Revain recommended tool does not fit pin plane. "14" was too tight and "13" was too loose. Also, I pulled on the threads on one of the nipples during tensioning and adjustment, so be careful. So I took one of my old sets out of the bin and reused it. All in all it was a fun and enjoyable process but I'm not 100% sure I would buy this brand again. The price wasn't bad though, so I might use these needles, but another brand's nipple.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Unreliable

Not recommended. Best in Spokes & Parts

I measured and ordered the correct length of the spokes, installed them, but when I adjusted the correctness of the wheel by turning the square of the nipples, I found that the The nipples are slightly larger than my tool, which I have used to set many wheels for many years. The threaded end of the nipples isn't quite square and malleable either, so using a crescent wrench to turn them was tricky instead. I'd really like to get them back, but 3 of them took a while to install and I don't really

The thought occurred to me

It was an interesting project for me. I like doing new things. The best part is that you learn from your mistakes. I mean how do you become an expert? . Correctly? While fixing my bike, I tried to adjust the spokes on the wheel. To my surprise, I loosened them in such a way that the tire wobbled a lot. As I researched by watching many videos on this channel made for you. I learned how to set up and "tune" my bike. I also wanted my spokes to be a little different than everyone else's. Something…
