🐱 HC Petromalt Hairball Relief For Cats Malt - 2 fl oz Review

My cat liked the chicken flavor, the malt flavor will not touch. It arrived with a malty flavor (despite the photo during the chicken flavor) and the chicken is nowhere to be found online. We switched to another brand (which the cat loves though). However, the friend's kittens loved malt - so it is common for cat owners, down to the individual cat.

I bought this for a cat who is constantly ill with hairballs after brushing. Of course he doesn't like that and will lick it off his feet just because I put something in it. First app, he got sick - so I haven't tried it (yet). I thought I caught the taste of tuna but malt came out. I won't be buying more but I'm sure it might work great for some cats. It is not difficult to put them on the paws so that they eat.

The first photo (plastic tube) is new. The second photo (metal tube) is what Petromalt was before it was bought by Sentry. The Sentry guy says it has a malty flavor and calls itself Petromalt, but when my cat greedily licked the original like it was the best treat, I have to coax it and repeatedly shove it in her face to try and get her to do it bring even a little bit of licking of the new stuff. I don't know how it's different, but my cat says "Mmm". I think it works *works* like helping her…

I have used this product to prevent hairballs in my cats for many years. In a multi-cat household, I give it to my cats every day after I've brushed them. My cats have always looked forward to the end of their daily routine to receive this treat. Having recently received an order, I noticed a change in the tube used and immediately noticed a change in the consistency of the product. Now it's very runny and I can't measure it out of the tube for every cat to lick it off. It's also a lot stickier
