Great tool! on Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

That's wonderful! My wife has arthritis in her hands and finds it very difficult to open bottles. I usually do that for her when I'm around. With one of them she has no problems at all! I use them myself because they are so quick and easy. They are small enough to carry in your purse and use at work! I'm glad I found her!

Not the best, all instructions not in English

Other products work better. I had trouble getting him to open a plastic water bottle. You can give it as a gift, but since the instructions etc. are in Chinese, your friend might think it's a cheap gift. Plus the fact that it doesn't work as easily as the others I've been given and tried on my 80 year old mom. That's why I bought so many similar ones

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Minor issues

always have it with me!

I like this small and light tool. I have arthritis and find it difficult to open anything. It is small and light, fits in any handbag or trouser pocket and is versatile. I keep one in my bag and one in the car. I recently went on a trip and forgot the one I have at home (which is bigger and heavier). I had to use the big uncomfortable one and it didn't work very well. I love the size and weight of this model. It also works just as well as the one I have at home.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not as good as it promises

Easy to use / Useful

This is a handy item especially for water/soda bottles, milk bottles etc. My daughter has beautiful nails and she often broke them due to fizzy drinks. Tins and cans of cat food. No longer! She really appreciates how easy it is to open cans now. I only gave the "gift" three stars because it's a rather odd gift. However, if the person really needs it, that would be greatly appreciated. I can no longer hold hands to open bottles so this is a godsend for me. It's very easy to use.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Not all fit

Easily open tabs.

I've had cheap plastic handles that broke within weeks. I was looking for a durable yet easy to use tongue puller. There are two pullers in the pack. does what it says Not only opens tin cans, but also soup and fruit cans. And does it ever work for soda bottles? There were a couple of bottle caps I thought I'd have to cut off. It arrived and I was able to remove the caps from these impossible bottles in a split second. My mom is 86 and has trouble grasping things but she has no problem with it.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • so far so good

Ideal for small bottles

I had carpal tunnel surgery two years ago and have arthritis in the same big toe. This sometimes makes it difficult to grab the lids. I bought them because they came in two packs. I leave one at home and one in my bag that goes to work with me. It's a pretty simple concept: the ridges on the bottle opener grab the ridges on the bottle cap, and so far it's working great. At the moment my only complaint is that it's not big enough to open the bottles I have the most trouble with. It just doesn't…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great idea but not for bottled water!

I really like the IDEA of this item. We have 2 people with ALS and arthritis who use them and they help compress and twist the caps, but for 16 ounce water bottles they make them so cheap and "flat" caps they don't compress well for that be able. . A cola bottle with a taller cap works well. They're just lower profile water bottles, they don't work as efficiently. I don't know how durable it is, we just got them. But they're not made of durable plastic like other grips we buy. But hopefully it…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • weak
