It encases your bars.

The tape is easy to grip and very comfortable. The bar end plus was very nice. Didn't want to stay in good condition so replaced them with some old plugs. It's not as good as some of the premium bar packaging, but it's three times the price.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Folds a little

Not worth the price

The adhesive is so strong that repeated wrapping may tear off part of the tape surface. Doesn't flex enough to get a clean wrapping job. Looks good, not great, not bad. End caps are cheap and the tape is too thick to thread along with the end cap.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Updates

I look great on my bike!

Amazing! Very nice bike strap. Matching length, with black glue and end caps. Very easy to install. I like the material. It's very soft and comfortable. The black tape showing the red layer underneath makes my bike look really nice. It fits my bike perfectly. Let's test it and see how durable it is.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Good band, easy to wind up

This band has decent cushioning, moderate I'd say. I don't like padding that is too thick or too thin, so I think that's the sweet spot. It was easy to wrap. A CAUTION - the kit does not include any additional parts for use behind the brake levers - most belts have them. Some people don't use them wrapped, but I do and add pieces cut from old duct tape. But I like the pattern on this band and it's comfortable.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • I'll add later

Looks great - not sure how long lasting they will be

They are excellent value for money. The perforated black band exposing the red layer underneath really gives it a nice flavored look. I used them on a 650c road bike (youth frame) and have about 2-3 inches left with the eight winding when shifting. leverage. I bet some will find them too short for adult sized handlebars. Time will tell but it looks like they will wear out quickly from friction but you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • Only available in black

Cheap vinyl - Sporty

Cheap material, not intended for beginners without road cycling experience. Little margin for error in packaging. If you wrap incorrectly or to your liking, the adhesive will tear the first layer of vinyl, exposing the gray secondary layer. This can make it look worn. It has a plastic feel and grip is questionable in wet weather or excessive humidity. That may be sufficient, but it's not very good compared to, for example, Bontrager, Cinelli or Specialized. which have a stronger rubberized foam

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in white

Difficult to wrap, but tape is a nuisance

I've probably wrapped the handlebars of six different road bikes about 50 times total. This is the toughest wrapping tape I've ever used - doesn't stretch enough and it's almost impossible not to get a few wrinkles. I used multiple screw connectors so I didn't have to use the poor quality connectors that came with the tape. The finishing tape is too short and not flexible enough - it is better to use black electrical tape. There are no short pieces covering the switch mounting clip, but they…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Hard to tell
