These are gorgeous wooden spoons with deep bowls that can be used as ladles. They are great for stirring when heating up soups and stocks. The handles are generous and very comfortable. They are light weight so I would suggest being a bit careful with them. As with all wooden spoons, do not leave them in soup/stew or other food, soak them in water or put them in the dishwasher and they should last for quite some time. This is a nice set of cooking spoons. I was looking for soup spoons and found it difficult as these modern spoons tend to be shallow. I received these tonight and I am estatic! I purchased 2 spoons and received the spatula free. I took photos to compare with some spoons I already use so you can see the difference. New spoons are pictured on the left. Big, sturdy and affordable.

There are defects on both laddles (out of the box). I worried that due to disruption of clear coating they won't be lasting as long and it may leak "chemical/coating etc". These utensils are nice looking but so light weight that it’s like they’re made from balsa wood…and they have a shiny finish painted on. They might make for a kitchen decor prop but that’s it. I’m definitely returning.

Ironically, I bought these to use in a cosplay that I'm putting together. & I am so glad I did! These are of amazing quality, sturdy and bad-ass to say the least! What a rad pair of spoons! I could not recommend these enough!

Although I ordered the two spoon set (large spoon and slotted spoon) I got the 3 set (no slotted spoon) But that's ok. I still love them.

I like that it's made of wood and is heat resistant unlike the nylon ones. Easy to clean as well. A good addition to my kitchen. The flat ladle which was free, is the best because I use it a lot. Nice and handy!

If you need a big spoon than yes, you can use it. But if you are hoping to use this as a ladle and get inside a large jar to scoop the inside liquid you won't be able to use it as it is straight and it has no curvature to allow you to scoop the liquid. I am makeing fermented wheat bran and I was hoping to scoop the liquid form a5 l jar using this ladle but since the handle is straight it won't work any better than a regular spoon. Otherwise seems ok but not for my needs.

The ladles exceeded my expectation! They are absolutely gorgeous. The wood and the craftsmanship is exceptional. These are the perfect size and depth. I just love it and thanks for the extra spatula.
