Noisy! depending on what surface you have it on.

I just launched it. To connect it to the CPU in the house you need to connect all 3 adapters. An AC plug would be nice on a refrigerator. I'm currently testing how long it should be kept at 25 degrees as I plan to freeze my pens. It cooled to the desired degree in 20 minutes. I lit it up in my truck and it was a lot less noisy. Economy mode is good for noise everywhere. The 12 volt supply always detects an error. Luckily my Ram truck has a 110 volt outlet. So I'll keep it. I would give it 4โ€ฆ

It's not Dometic or Norcold, but it's not their price either. Another compressor

Update: No problems after a year of sporadic use. Would buy again. Overall, the construction, materials and cost are very good. What's great is that it can work at an angle of up to 30 degrees. Three disappointments: 1) The compressor is a bit noisy - not loud, but louder than the more expensive Norcold and Dometic units which use a Danfoss compressor. It has 2 speeds, High and Low/Economy. It's not variable speed like Danfoss, so it's not as efficient. However, I almost always leave it on low,

Works fine, goodbye, ice fight.

Bought 50 liters for our desert trips. Just unplug it for a week and it worked better than expected. No issues with low voltage cut off or other issues as per other reviews. We left the car plugged in while driving and then used the Jackery 240 overnight at camp to keep it running. There's nothing like a frosty cold beer in the middle of a hot desert. We found that putting pre-frozen food in the bottom could result in the internal temperature sensor triggering falsely and the food on top beingโ€ฆ

Ships flat despite the clear bold label 'THIS END UP'. I let it sit for 24 hours before turning it on. The outer packaging is damaged and rough. SETPOWER AJ40 does not look damaged. The small plastic plug for one of the screw holes for attaching the handle is missing (not needed). The instruction manual is written in broken English and is almost unusable. It mentions disabling low battery and setting hi, medium, low, but DOES NOT mention how to set that setting. There are instructions on how to

Good for the price but don't use a 12v outlet.

I have never used a car/truck fridge like ARB or Dometic fridges. The price is much lower than the well-known brands, so I try to keep my expectations under control. I highly recommend that you either plug it in and cool it at home before each trip, or leave your car on when it first turns on. . It seems to consume enough energy to reach the initial pace. Also, 12v (cigarette lighter plug) doesn't seem to be going anywhere. I often get errors when using a 12 volt plug. It just seems too longโ€ฆ

Setpower AJ50 53 qt 12v Portable Fridge Freezer Fridge was well packaged and withstood the rigors of shipping.
