Description of 🏎️ Pace Setter 70-1138 Black Exhaust Header: Boosting Performance with Style

CNC-machined, port-matched thick steel flanges provide postive seal at the head and unrestriced flow into the primary tubes. All tubing is mandrel-bent, 16-gauge carbon steel for excellent durability. Available with standard black paint finish or optional ARMOR*Coat metallic ceramic coating. Unsurpassed fit and easy to install with basic skills. Gaskets included.

Good price headers

They work great on my 4 Banger TJ. but they rust after a few years at the top of the junction where all the pipes meet. And the mating surface with the heads could be strengthened. My mechanic struggled to get a good seal in the center of the mating flange.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Not sure

. not for a weekend mechanic and not a simple screw

I bought this to do a simple header replacement but this product is not for a weekend mechanic and not a simple screw. You have to cut and weld which in my case costs more than the part itself and for whoever does the job cut the cost what's the point. Will return.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • There are flaws

MANDATORY CUT EXHAUST and money and time and ?.

You still don't have all the parts to work with. You need to cut six inches off the exhaust pipe. Paid $480 (cat of course) buy, sand, paint with VHT paint that fades and is useless. So everything is on fire under the hood because it's so hot! The oxygen sensor is now 6 inches shorter! Soldering does not work, so only the engine lamp lights up. Nobody wears oxygen sensors long enough, and nobody recommends a generic Bosch because they don't work! Months, the company says, call someone else. I…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Easily repairable
