No turning back. The best in kayaking

Do not fit clamps on boat and cannot be returned. Beware. Check sizes before ordering as they will stick with you if they don't fit

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • The list will go on.

; The leg is too short, the diameter too .

;Too short foot, too narrow diameter for standard oarlocks and overall design does not at all fit the 'heavy duty' description. total pos.

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • Ok

Perfect for Radisson Canoe

Bought these for Radisson 14ft Canoe. This is the ideal length for a single rower. I had to rubberize the oars to fit the standard 1.5" cans, but it was easy. A canoe rows faster than it rows and is much more maneuverable.

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Drill Pack

Non-heavy duty and 1 " shank

Fairly light (heavy duty is a vague term) and 1" shank. Obviously everyone thinks they are 1.5" because Revain suggests buying 1.5" oarlocks. It's not the manufacturer's fault, but it kind of sucks that Revain offers that.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Very expensive

Very durable! Recommend

I bought this as an extra set of paddles for an Intex Excursion 4 inflatable boat that I bought because the original paddles that came with the boat were prone to breakage. according to many reviewers. These paddles feel very strong compared to the original Intex paddles. I haven't used them much, but based on my first impressions they should last a very long time. Very durable! I recommend it.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • I don't really like it, it's ok

Depends on your boat and intended use

If you are purchasing these as your main power source on a 12-14 foot aluminum boat, you may be better off using traditional longer wooden oars. However, if you use them occasionally or as a backup in case of engine failure, this might be the right choice. On my low 14ft boat they were perfect for casual use. I bought Revain oarlocks intended for a larger diameter paddle, bought a 12 inch bike tube, cut the tube in half, wrapped the oars and put on the oarlocks. Works great for my intended use.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Minor issues

Not "Aluminum Paddles "

I purchased this "upgraded" pair of paddles to replace all the plastic paddles I originally bought for my Sevylor Fish Hunter 360 inflatable boat as the plastic paddles left a lot to be desired in terms of the strength I decided aluminum oars would be the best choice. Upon opening the packaging, I found that the only metal part of the paddles was the two-piece shaft, not the entire paddle. While a plastic paddle wrapped around an aluminum shaft should still be an improvement over my original…

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Upgrades
