Cuts 1/4 " stainless steel bar.

The cutting discs cut my 1/4" stainless steel bar very well. I tried a hacksaw but it would take forever to cut the SS staffs. My jigsaw was just as bad as the hacksaw. The cutting wheels did their job in a minute or two.

The grinder and the paint make me a welder. I'm not like that!

Nothing to say these are fairly cheap standard cutting wheels and they don't last long. I honestly bought this gazebo set as it was cheaper than a gazebo at home alone! And the gazebo itself is cool and worth the money!

The wheels are excellent, there is no pavilion.

Grinding wheels are thick and decent but the mandrel didn't last a week. The threads have completely snapped, which could result in serious injury if I'm not careful. If you need decent cutting wheels to grind these will do, but don't buy them for an arbor like me.

Cutting discs

I had to adapt my cordless drill for outdoor use. This package worked great. They say the metal is only on the washers but I have used them successfully on a wood damaged PVC square post. It was the right tool for the job, and I didn't need a 300-foot power cord or moving the generator to get the five-minute job done.

Stands up well and does what it's supposed to.

Works properly when used in a drill press. I used mine to trim a 223 brass to get a size 300 AAC blackout. I made a small holder to hold seven pieces at a time and it cuts really fast. I've done over 200 cases so far and the disc has worn very little. I don't know how it will cut steel but for what I've used it does the job well.

Safety first! - Grinding and finishing materials

Cutting discs save time! This kit is like any other. I chose Shark because it is a well-known quality brand. Cutting discs for straight grinders are NOT for beginners! Using these wheels at 22,000 rpm without a shield is a recipe for disaster in the hands of an amateur. Always wear a face shield when using this tool. Goggles aren't good enough. I honestly wear goggles and wear a face shield over my glasses. These things are weapons if you break them and hit yourself in the face! SAFETY FIRST!

Cutting Wheels Successfully Cut Old Oak Stair Treads

Metal Cutting Wheels are excellent for use with a 1350rpm hand drill for cutting old oak stair treads that have already been installed. At first I tried using a knife for cutting wood, but to no avail. These blades wore out to a large extent simply by slicing through a length about 3 1/2 feet the width of a stair step. It is necessary to be patient and apply only a small amount of forward force for the wheels to start cutting through the wood. A wheel broke off around the spindle and got stuck…

Fast delivery, good quality. Good Price

I love thin cut-off wheels, I've used them all. I have heavy reinforced drawers that work, but I prefer thin unreinforced ones. They cut fast, create less mess and use less energy. I always have two compressed air grinders ready at my workplace. (Square head and straight head) Welding or rough cutting a machined part. I used cutting wheels to cut the sheet metal along the non-structural fold lines. (If you don't have a baking press, cut the line in half and bend the metal by hand. Apply a few…
