Would I buy again Good for skateboarding

Nice and different wheel, it's not exactly square but it really affects your ride. Some people say they haven't noticed a difference, but if you already ride a bigger, softer wheel stick with it, but if you want something different or are going straight from stock wheels you'll see a big difference. Less traction because there are only three contact points instead of the entire wheel. I recommend that you even try it as a set that you turn on and off.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • old

Although the stock wheels are great

I originally used penny board wheels on my skateboard and then replaced them with these. Although Penny bikes are great stock bikes, they could snag me and throw me off the board if they rolled over gravel on the road or went over a big crack. Once I mounted the Shark Wheels, they rolled right over the gravel and large cracks in the road with no issues. They should be better than any standard skateboard wheels.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Great concept, not a bad steering wheel but overhyped.

Disappointing. I have used them on a Landyachtz cruiser that came with standard Hawgz wheels (63mm, 78a). The difference is marginal. You may feel a greater improvement if your regular board has smaller, harder wheels. Shark wheels are good for coarse gravel, rubble, etc., but they are no different than standard wheels for small cracks and bumps. In fact, I was thrown sideways when the wheels with narrow grates got stuck in the drain cap; The stock wheels rolled right over the same drain capโ€ฆ

Best wheels out there

Wheels are cool, weird, although all my 59mm wheels are bigger than this and I was able to lower the riser height, I doubt they are 60mm. But while I've seen 60mm wheels for 30 years and they seem smaller, they cut through rocks, cling to tight corners and are obviously easier to slide, this is coming from someone who couldn't slide unless floor was wet. And I think there are quality cores in there because my bearings spin a lot faster than any other wheels I put in, it's weird but I appreciate

Disappointed: Sport

I love my Shark 70mm wheels. They are great for my everyday cruising needs and almost unstoppable. Needless to say I was thrilled at the prospect of these being my new skate wheels. Yes, I know these aren't your average stunt bikes, but I had a blast in my 70's. So I bought these 60's expecting the same smooth ride. I really got it for the first few trips. However, it quickly became clear that bearings tend to fall out of these wheels. I mean the wheels won't last long on the bearings. You canโ€ฆ

LOVE THESE WHEELS! BEST WHEELS!

I have to say these wheels are far better than any other skateboard wheel I've tried. I'm just new to skateboarding so I haven't done any tricks yet and mostly just ride my skateboard which I haven't done lately due to issues with road conditions and the terrain I ride on. But now I can finally go outside with so much %$@ and even ride my skateboard in my boyfriend's condominium! Cracks in the road and little rocks/pebbles almost everywhere on the ground and these wheels just rolled over it and

Great wheels but needs more gear

Okay last review here. I bought 60mm 78a wheels for my double shock skateboard. These wheels with Shiver ABEC9 bearings are absolutely outstanding! The skateboard will roll itself on a 2 degree tiled garage floor which is awesome. HERE'S THE PROBLEM - If you're buying these for a traditional skateboard or anything other than a longboard, you MUST BUY 1/2" risers and 1.25" to 1.5" fasteners with nylock nuts or you'll bite into the wheel and bolt it to the bottom of the board by simply doingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I have no bad feelings about it everything is fine

Excellent wheels. Poor shipping

I only gave 4 out of 5 stars because I had to buy the same item twice. When I first bought it I was given an LED light bulb instead of Shark wheels but they quickly fixed the issue by giving me a refund. Shark 60mm 78a wheels are the perfect size to build a cruising rig on a 36" board. You can use them on a skateboard deck. The diameter is too small for a longboard. I would recommend a range of 70mm to 85mm if you plan on using Shark wheels to mount your longboard. The stiffness range for these

Pros
  • Sturdy construction

  • Definitely bad product
