Works well but know how to use

I have ordered many of these. That winter when we had the polar vortex, a lot of our pipe connections started leaking - they're old copper pipe and I think the solder joints were damaged from the extreme cold. So I gradually replaced the worst ones first. They're easy to use, but you MUST know how to make them. And you can't use a hacksaw like I originally tried and messed up, and they're pretty hard to remove even with tools. But they are strong and much easier than soldering.

Pros
  • INSTALLS IN ONE SECOND: No special tools, soldering, crimping or gluing; Just press the adapter to make a waterproof connection
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

We were afraid to cut into the old copper pipe and attach the new CPVC or shark pipe. After careful measurement, we inserted copper tubes at the bottom and top, added a new tube in the middle, and you're done. No leaks, no problems. . much easier to work with when you don't have to solder, glue or…
