I think it's a great product but I've tried it on two occasions.

I think this is a great product but I have tried twice to figure out how I could get a USB cable to use this product with my computer instead of the 9 pin cable that is included was supplied with the PDA.

Pros
  • Dope πŸ”₯
Cons
  • boring packaging

Worst product I have ever bought

The worst product I have ever bought. The installation diskette or connection cable does not fit any of my computers. The unit of measurement itself is difficult to read. Therefore I cannot use it. If possible I'll be happy to send it back. David Reid

Pros
  • Everything is great!
Cons
  • Can't remember

Better than carrying around an organizer

This organizer isn't bad. Lightweight and serves a purpose. I take the bus to work and I carry quite a lot, and I didn't have room for an organizer. I currently use a Palm Z22, it's 4 years old and if I thought I could change the battery myself I would have done it long ago.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • High Price

Sharp Electronic Organizer is a waste of money

I gave one star because there was no alternative to ZERO stars. Didn't work, probably inefficient. The floppy interface for downloading to a computer is useless and this is the only device that came in the original packaging. I declined and didn't ask for my money back.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Safety

Great Choice: Cable Organizers, Bags & Cases

I have used other touchscreen organizers and found that they had some issues. You often hit the wrong key or the key repeats itself, and even in the lower price range there seems to be a lack of features. This organizer doesn't have any of those issues, although I've found that sometimes the button I press doesn't come through (but at least it doesn't repeat 2 or 3 times). Big size (fits easily in the palm of my hand), body is solid, pen input is more reliable than any other device I've seen…

Pros
  • Pretty Packaging
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

YO-290P - My first PDA

I have had a Sharp YO-290P for a few days (April 2003). I'm new to the PDA world so I don't even know if I'll find the PDA useful. I'm also one of the most frugal people I know, which led me to 290P. I don't need to download email, take photos, or replace a computer. I just wanted Instant On, a good extension for my computer that would allow me to search for contacts and tasks and take quick notes. I'm a database programmer with my own contacts database and also a contacts database in Outlook…

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Clarity
