This device came home a week ago. What it does to bread is remarkable. You know how that day old baguette goes all soft after a day - no matter how you store it? This oven will allow you restore the crunch with a 4-6 minute steam run. I like it! Plain toast my be a bit better. Meat on a hoagie roll with cheese for a French drip? Awesome It’s east]y to clean. A useful tool if you’ve got the counter space. Haven’t tried pizza in it yet. At this price, hard to resist.

In the end, we wound up spending a lot of time testing this oven out over the last week or so. Most of us here have had a chance to make use of it with one food item or another. It keeps evenly from what we have seen thus far, and the quality of flavor and texture in most foods is superb thanks to the retention of moisture in the food. This thing is amazing and it saves 10-15% on cooking time of just about anything not covered up.It's a $200 appliance that makes the food better, saves time, saves money, literally replaces my oven.Its noise when it's done could be louder, it's hard to hear many times. You have to be careful not to clean the top heaters, but ultimately when you need a deep clean you just run it for some time (googled amount) at high temperature to simulate the deep cleaning mode of most ovens.

I use this oven on a daily basis. I love that it doesn't have to be preheated. It's so easy to pull something out of the freezer and reheat it for my sons lunch or dinner. I also no longer have a microwave, and this provides a much healthier alternative to reheating leftovers. When I need a quick meal -- a piece of protein and some veggies are ready in less than 20 minutes. I also used it like crazy last holiday season. I love it, but you might hate it. There is no non-steam setting. If you love classic toasted white bread this is not for you. But if you prefer almost any other type of bread either toasted or freshened, love perfectly cooked pizza, fish and more you will love this oven. I have yet to try it on veggies but I'm looking forward to it.

Makes fantastic pizza, reheat leftovers like tater tots, fries and frozen food without that microwave dry hardness. Fish, potstickers, frozen Bao taste awesome. Steak does not have that beautiful crusted outside, but juicy and delicious if you can tolerate the soft texture.

This little unit is my favorite new kitchen gadget. Grilled cheese is nicely melted and browned with moist, fresh-tasting bread, even though it's been in my pantry for a week. Steam improves so many kinds of food!
