This set contains just about everything you need to keep your cutlery in perfect condition. I would add Nagura to safely clean rocks. This cleaning stone(?) also produces a slurry that actually sharpens the knife. Use plenty of water and wash the stones frequently. I'm still learning but getting pretty good results. stay sharp!

Haven't been able to use it yet but I suspect the stones themselves will work as advertised. Clamp for chisels and other blades, as already mentioned, is useless. The thread is cut incorrectly, causing the screw to slip in the casting. Will most likely come back for a similar product with no useless add-ons.

stones and holders are fine but the honing angle guide is pure junk. The metal is not finished and will not allow the tools to fit the clamp smoothly and tightly. Tools weaken after a few hits. Then the clamp locking knob came loose the second time I used the guide and can't be put back on. I will try to fill it with epoxy and try to mill the cast metal for the tool clamp.

Not sure I like this set. The 1000 stone is too soft and after about 5 minutes I had quite deep cavities. I don't think the stone will last long before needing replacement. It's a good thing that a cleaning stone is included in the set, otherwise you'll quickly end up with an uneven surface. Other stones in this set do not have this problem.
