Ideal for final knife sharpening!

This wheel works very well. Like any leather wheel, it must first be leveled with a wood chisel and coated with a polishing paste of your choice. Works great with regular green paste! Excellent results are achieved with chisels and knives.

Quality construction, customer support information and SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS required

The price is right. The product seems to be durable after a few uses. Better English text is needed in the instructions and the instructions should apply to this particular product. Should include speed/shaft rotation settings for a 3 inch impeller and safety instructions. The particular effectiveness of the product in sharpening a knife blade was not evident on first use.

Very bad quality. Apparently this manufacturing facility does not have a quality control service.

All leather discs must be round, the same diameter and their edges must meet to form a solid surface for sharpening tools. The device I received had discs of different diameters and the edges didn't meet to form that critical flat surface. I didn't send the wheel back thinking I could sand the edges down to a smooth flat surface. I haven't tried to fix the roundness issue yet.
