Unpleasant best in sharpener

I didn't like this stone, it just didn't sharpen my blade. I bought it about a month ago and wanted to take my time working with it. After that month I decided it was useless. I have about 3 years of experience with these stones (required skills for my job) and I have to say this might be the worst. I remove the stone and it dries within seconds after getting wet. As for my block of white lacquer, I could not use it because it was repeatedly molded.

If you have time and watched enough videos on this, great!

I was sharpening my chef's knife (which hadn't been sharpened in several years) and didn't realize I'd cut myself cleaning it later until I saw blood in the kitchen sink. Needless to say I was very impressed. The coarser side of the stone was great for trimming the edge, while the finer side of the stone was great for buffing the edge. If you haven't guessed it yet, search the internet for a few YouTube videos showing how to do it. Go ahead and plan 20-30 minutes before getting comfortable…

Great addition to my kitchen

Whetstone is a great new addition to my kitchen. Design: It is thoughtfully designed with an attractive wooden holder and a rubber collar that keeps it in place during use. It's small/slim and fits nicely in my knife case. Performance: The stone works well. It comes with a knife holder that holds the blade at the right angle for sharpening.
