Ok so I don't say premium lightly because I usually use Haslinger, Pre De Provence and Le Pere Lucien shaving soaps so I feel that familiar with a premium product. Maybe I'm just a hobbyist, but I prefer regular shaving cream or gel to this stuff. Smells good although I wanted a slightly stronger barbershop smell. It is very difficult to turn it into a thick foam. Instead, everything happens as if you were just lathering a bar of soap. Again, I didn't know what to expect as this is my first time trying something other than a store. It was expensive and I just don't think it's worth it.

First try at that old fashioned razor and cream. Store bought razors that weren't suitable for dry shaving, which is what I'm used to with fancy 5-blade disposable blades. so get it and now the blades cut like butter. I really wanted to love this cream but when applied it dried quickly on the face and was so thick that the razor went over it rather than the skin. I had to shave twice to get a close shave. To make matters worse, the water didn't seem able to penetrate when rinsing because it was so thick and slippery. It took me 3 minutes to take it off. All of this is the opposite of what you would expect from a shaving cream.

I ordered this product just a few days ago. At the beginning I immediately had a problem. I opened the can and there wasn't enough product in it. I'm not sure if it was a leak or if they left large air bubbles in the product on purpose. When I saw that the product was $16 a can I felt cheated. I bought a tin of Barbershop Scent Shaving Cream which arrived today. When I opened the package it was obvious that there was a leak around the lid. I cleaned it and opened the jar.
