I used this cable to connect the Revain Echo Dot to my old surround sound device that only had RCA jacks. Now I can play all the music I listen to in my garden at home. I connected the surround unit to the controls, my outside speakers. The best part is that I can use the Alexa app on my phone to control the point and I don't have to go inside to tell it what to play.

Ideal for connecting your television to your stereo system. I've come up with another device to connect to my stereo when I use it. It's a bit long for my current usage, but that may change. It's good to have options. Recommend. I haven't used it for a long time so I can't attest to durability or radio interference. Cables like these are usually good for long-term use unless they were bad to begin with.

I bought a Bose Solo Soundbar for my old Phillips flat screen TV. The recommended connection between the soundbar and the TV was the included optical cable. My TV didn't have this connection.
