🐦 Sheer Guard Large Size Bird Cage Skirt - Made in USA Review

This product saved me time collecting bird seed every day. The material catches the seeds and I love it. I used 2 of these very large. Birds love to hide and perch on the ground. The material breathes and I'm happy with it. Overall a great purchase.

I bought two white mesh seed catchers for my cockatiel cage. Bottom and side seed cups. They work very well and look very pretty on my white cage. I am very happy with them and they reduce clutter by at least 80-90%.

At first everything was perfect. He circled the cage just right and the rubber band tightened under the cage, catching all the food that was scattered by the birds. Excellent! But after a week or two, the rubber band that was supposed to go under the cage lost all its elasticity and the birdseed was back on the floor. I think the solution should be to pin the elastic under the plaid to make it shorter unless someone else has suggestions.

I have a 16" x 16" cage for my zebra finches and it fits me very well. It expands well and I tucked it under the plastic ledge just below the cage bars to catch the seeds. It fits just fine, but not too tight. I will remove this from the outside or on a piece of newspaper to catch the mess when cleaning up. This plaid skirt definitely helps control flying seeds and feathers. My only concern is that the fabric is very thin and may not hold up over time. I may have positioned it wrong - the bottom elastic is actually under the cage - but I have to be very, very careful not to tear that clear fabric when I remove it to clean the cage. The Sheer Guard Birdcage Skirt is an amazing item. It fits in my large birdcage with just enough headroom for easy attachment. Since using the skirt, the chaff, feathers and other debris on the floor under the cage have all but disappeared. Cleaning the cage is now very easy as all I have to do is remove the bottom tray, place it under the cage, then lift the elastic straps on each edge of the skirt and empty the contents onto the tray.
