Works well Generally good for dogs

I've heard many scary stories about untethered dogs flying through dashboards and/or seriously injuring their owners in an accident. I knew I wanted to find something for the car that would protect my precious Yorkie. This barrier was fairly quick and easy to set up (I'm not particularly "with" when it comes to intuitively knowing how to assemble things like this, so I appreciated the instructions!). Simply hook onto the headrests and stretch out a bit, done! It fit perfectly in my car and Iโ€ฆ

I never have to use my hand to stop the dog from jumping forward

I have a bulldog actually there are 3 of them and they all want to ride with me in the front seat. As you know, they're a bit big for something like this, so I had to ride the passenger seat with my right hand to build a barrier so the tallest one couldn't jump forward. Do you know how hard it is to do this with a 65 pound bulldog? Let's just say I failed once and she threw my car into neutral on the track. I was really excited about the Sherpa Backseat Pet Barrier because now I feel completely

It works for us in a 1999 Civic hatchback.

OVERVIEW: Sherpa K9 Front Seat Net Car Seat Barrier My wife trains dogs and drives a 'dog car' so we'll leave her opinion in this review strongest count: first impression was how nice this seat barrier is. I love the turquoise hem. It is well designed and easy to adjust according to the length of the straps. Our "dog" is a 1999 Civic Hatchback. When we don't have passengers, I lower the back seats and tie the dogs in the back so they're protected and can't get into the front seat and possiblyโ€ฆ

Assembled and working well but a bit pricey.

I love that this padded Sherpa K9 barrier is very strong, but it was a little tricky to properly attach the bottom hooks in our 2012 GMC Acadia. My headrests don't raise easily and are usually lowered and the headrest extension legs are not visible, but I can add top hooks to each headrest leg with no problems. It is easy to hang. However, the bottom strap hooks are not easy to find to find a convenient place to attach. The best hook is on the moving seat track, but if you attach it to theโ€ฆ

Works for us: Dogs

When I bought our Mini it was replacing a two seater stroller because we wanted something that could carry us and our three pugs. We used a stretchable cargo mesh to ensure they don't get stuck and it works well enough. But the mesh stretches a little deeper than we'd like across the gap between the front seats, and sags when our dog turns his leg and flexes his weight around his armpit. We were excited to try this Sherpa K9 soft barrier. It's slightly stronger than straight stitches. It isโ€ฆ
