Review on ๐Ÿพ Black Sherpa K9 Mesh Barrier for Car Front Seats by Seth Tezzy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works for us: Dogs

When I bought our Mini it was replacing a two seater stroller because we wanted something that could carry us and our three pugs. We used a stretchable cargo mesh to ensure they don't get stuck and it works well enough. But the mesh stretches a little deeper than we'd like across the gap between the front seats, and sags when our dog turns his leg and flexes his weight around his armpit. We were excited to try this Sherpa K9 soft barrier. It's slightly stronger than straight stitches. It is made of flexible foam with a fine mesh window in the middle. It's easy to install. There are four straps with hooks at the ends. Each of them is adjustable: the top two brackets attach to the headrest pillars, and the bottom two brackets attach to the back of the front seat rails. Installation took 4 minutes, works great. Our car has a double floor. The barrier has a mesh section that wraps around the hump. When used, the barrier works better than the cargo net. It's slightly stronger and a couple of inches higher than the back of the seats, making it difficult for my dogs to climb their paws over it. A fine mesh window in the center between the seats allows our dogs to see us and eases their anxiety a bit. Overall I'm very happy with it and will definitely use it for small trips. It takes 4-5 minutes to attach or remove, and once the straps are set for your vehicle, it's fairly easy. I have a blue car and this soft sherpa barrier has a bluish blue finish on the outside edge that really matches. My only concern is that it would be nice if it came flat rather than folded in a fairly small box. This means there are multiple folds. But nothing that affects functionality.
