🚴 Front & Rear SHIMANO 105 BR-R7000 Brake Caliper Set in Black Review

This is a real deal. Excellent stopping power and really well made. Huge upgrade over my previous Tektro calipers. Much safer on steeper descents. Worth the money IMO.

Unbelievable. Most mid-range road bikes have some Shimano groupsets. They usually replace Shimano brakes with cheap Tektro brakes or something similar. After a few years of mediocre Tektro braking on my 105 Fuji, I decided to spend some money and buy real 105 brakes. Oh God! Talk about day and night, that's all. CLEAR SUPERIORITY Not just a little bit better, but a lot better. My winter bike has hydraulic discs, and no, they're not that strong, but not far off! Highly recommended!

I just crashed my bike at 27mph and it was thrown sideways and my Axis 1.0 front brake on my Specialized Roubaix was bent and damaged by a hard hit on the bitumen coating . An absolute upgrade compared to the previous brake calipers. I decided to switch to 105s from original Shimano OEM calipers. 💯% better! this. These brakes are center mounted calipers and are center acting, meaning you brake on either side of the right and left side surfaces of the brake track in turn.
