SHIMANO Altus Right 7 Speed SL M315 7R Review

Reliable 7 speed shifter. Index smoothly. I used it to replace a broken derailleur on my e-bike. My only problem was that the long shifters got in the way of my eBike's accelerator pedal. But that's not the product's fault.

Got this switch to upgrade the grab switch my mongoose malus came with. This flip is awesome. Easy to use, easy to install. Once a derailleur is properly tuned and adjusted, that derailleur will shift into the exact gear you want. Love it. Great update

Replaced the shifter on my kids mountain bike. It's not a very customizable shifter, but it gets the job done and puts the gears where they're needed on the fly. Easy to install, comes with everything you need to get started. Just make sure you have a compatible derailleur.

I received this to replace the shifter on my kids bike which broke in less than a month. The product corresponds to the description, 7 speeds not 3 as in the picture. Installation was easy and my kid smiled again. The product arrived on time. I thought the price was right too.

I was told by a local bike shop that if these things aren't working properly you can open them up and clean them. And it worked, but I had a broken lid and it got dirty easily. I got tired of the hassle and bought this one. An exact copy of the original. I've driven it about 300 miles and every time it shifts smoothly as it should. Definitely worth the price.

These Shimano derailleurs work great! Installation was easy and straightforward. I'm glad I went with the package offered and bought the grips with trigger switches. The original Trek cranks have been removed, and these longer cranks are necessary since the new levers are narrower than the original twist grip shifters. Great upgrade to OEM switches. Used them to help my wife shift gears on her new electric bike.
