High-performance Chain 116 Links CN-HG901-11: Perfect Fit for 11-Speeds Without End Pin Review

The description says it's a fast connection but it's not. It's still a Dura-Ace chain, but it's a pin link style, not a quick link. Disappointed but not worth the time to send it back.

Warning! You can no longer get Dura Ace. I bought the first one, ordered another one and got a Shimano 105 chain. Send them back and ask for a replacement, got 105 again.

just received today 05/28/2021. got hg901 embossed on the outer plate. Great chain but disappointed in the lack of a quick link as stated in the description. Instead, it came with a needle. the seller was Katakura-do JAPAN.

I've used a chain checker to measure wear and I've already done 3100 miles and it's still no toast. The previous chain, also DA, did 2900 miles. This chain really gives you the claimed improvement thanks to its fluorine based coating. I usually wear out the Ultegra chain in 2500 miles. So this kid goes for the extra miles. Just keep it clean.

I used to buy a Dura-ace CN-HG901 with quick connect and that's what I got (see picture). When I clicked buy again I went to this product which is NOT Dura-Ace and may not even have a quick link. The same thing happened recently with the cassette and pulley set. Especially with bikes, but with almost everything else at Revain these days, what you see isn't necessarily what you get.

I was skeptical of several previous reviews that reported receiving chains from low end models and mislabeling the packaging. This is the real deal and at the best price on the web with a quick link included. If you're using Shimano components, stick with their chain. I replaced the worn out Ultegra with a gold Knc and it was making a lot of noise. That should be there. From all the reviews I read it's as smooth as the 701 but more durable. Time will tell, but smooth shifting and quiet…

I upgraded my shock and during the tuning process I rewound the chain so I asked Revain for help. Get the XT right and believe that the top of the Shimano food chain was worth the extra cost and lo and behold. It was like this! You don't realize how disgusting the quality of your shift is until you make that change. I never thought it was bad before, but now it's definitely amazing. I would even say better than new compared to my stock Shimano chain on a Shimano 11 speed XT drivetrain. Not sure
