that's a good piece of plastic

that's a good piece of plastic. I put it on my bike and felt safe again when my chain went overboard. Now I can worry about cable ends again.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons

Shimano spoke guard freewheel 26-30 teeth

spoke guard Shimano freewheel 26-30 teeth is a good product. It is very easy to install before installing the cassette sprocket. This is the perfect solution for spoke protection. I love it.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • negative impression

Does exactly what it should.

Looks great, fits easily, does exactly what it's supposed to. I put it on my bike when I put on the new chain and cassette, looks a million times better than the old one from 1994. Simple and perfect.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Useless features

Fits perfectly on the bike!

I bought this spoke guard for a Trek MT 220 24" bike and it worked great! I strongly recommend buying this product, great price and even better quality! the size of the spoke profile, you count the number of teeth on the last cog closest to the spokes of the wheel, then count the number of spokes on the wheel, easy!

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Some difficulties

The disc has a large plastic outer diameter of 5+ inches and a plastic inner raised ring that contacts the low/big gear, but the plastic inner raised ring must be smaller than the low gear diameter, so that the chain is in the teeth and does not disturb/touch the chain. The washer is extra insurance against things that could cause the chain to get caught between the bottom cog and the spokes, which could cause the spoke to break.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Not the best

Clean look, simple and inexpensive protection against chain damage

This is a medium sized (32 hole) rear hub protector that I use on better road bikes that I repair for a local charity. This works/looks best on hubs (32 holes) with the largest cassette rear wheels with 27-28-30 teeth max. (Item No.: CP-FH35). For 32 hole hubs and the largest rear cassette gear 23-25-26-27 you can also use the smallest free profile (4.25") P/N: YF-FH25. These smaller protectors feel comfortable, look neat and unobtrusive. and they don't look like you have a pie plate attachedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
