Shimano HG71 6-8 Speed Chain Review

This is the highest quality Shimano chain you can buy for a 7/8 speed drivetrain. I use them on my road bikes and mountain bikes. The last ones I bought came in individual plastic bags, not a box, and they didn't come with a Hyperglide needle. I have a few of these in the parts box so that's not a problem, but be aware. "Quick Link" is not typical for 11-speed. It has 2 pins on one side and a link with an oval hole where you put the pins on the other side. It's insanely difficult if not impossible if you follow Shimano's instructions. I will try to spare you the biggest disappointment. Insert the 2-pin link into the chain (as shown).
