Fantastic pedals. I use them on my street and .

Fantastic pedals. I use them on my road and gravel bike. The float allows my feet to sit in the perfect position so I don't have to adjust the cleats. All my knee problems are gone with these pedals. I think the Bobber was originally designed for mountain bikers to adapt to the trail, but the benefit of road riding is that it allows the feet to sit more naturally in the correct position a few degrees in either direction. They are also incredibly easy to put on and take off. Much lighter than…

Simple and reliable: Bicycle

540 pedals are awesome! These are my first clipless pedals and I've been debating between platform versions or this one. Went with them because the shoes didn't touch the extra materials anyway. Not disappointed. After a few weeks of training, quick on and off is muscle memory and I appreciate the smaller footprint they take up. I didn't even adjust the tension on the spikes and they're pretty easy to put in and take out. Maybe I'll loosen it up a bit in the future to make it a lot easier. A…

NEVER WEAR!. suitable for cycling

Great solid pedal set! I've been using these PD-M540's for several years and they don't wear out at all in The Cleat's interaction zone! Only a tiny fraction of The Bronze's color wears off with daily use. They are very easy to maintain if necessary. The spindle/axle itself acts as a race and cylinder with one race on each side, one for the journal bearing ring and one on the cylinder. The other end of the Barrel Race hub contacts a 10mm nut and has a 1.0 thread pitch. followed by a 6mm locknut

Keeps you in Parts & Components

Like most clip-on pedals, it helps keep your foot in place. I can try as hard as I can and it won't let me go. It has good ground clearance, fairly light weight and a very nice pinch feel. I have them on both mountain bikes and road bikes. In both cases there were no problems in use. Revain has the best price. None of my local stores will even match the price. Of course, as with most other pedals, if you stop and forget to click out, be prepared to get off the ground. If you're not used to…

Life is a little sweeter

Just got back to mountain biking. My last bike had clips and straps so you have to imagine how long ago that was! I've had clips on my road bike for years so I'm not new to clipless pedaling, but this is my first time using an SPD system or any off-road clipless system. The bike I bought came with PD-M324 pedals. So they are only cut on one side. I knew I was old and tired and rusty but I thought I had fought a lot more than it took to get back on my feet, especially in the technical areas. The
