Enhance Control and Speed with SHIMANO Altus SL-M2010-9R 9-Speed Right Rapidfire Plus Shifter Review

I used this to replace an old Shimano shifter on my mountain bike. Fast easy installation and setup. Shifts great, no problems so far. Better than my last!

Replaced a 15 year old shift knob with this one. It's getting harder and harder to find parts for 9 speed bikes. Despite being the cheapest Shimano product in this category, it still works great. I love how you can shift through multiple gears with a longer press. The downshift trigger is also quick and precise with a sense of precision. hope it lasts

Glad I got the rear derailleur right but a bit disappointed in the included shifter cable as for some reason the cable was worn out when I installed it and made some length adjustments to mine cable box. So now I have to buy another cable, which of course doesn't bother me, but still a little disappointed, but does not affect the overall rating.
