They fit perfectly on my Giant Contend 1

They fit very well on my Pearl Izumi cycling shoes. I use these SPD style cleats for my clip-on/clip-on pedals that I have on my Giant Contend 1 road bike. Yes, you can use them on a road bike, not a mountain bike, and yes, you can use shoes styled mountain bikes on a road bike. I actually prefer this because the cleats are embedded in the core of the shoe to give you a little easier running.

  • Absolute Legend

The clamps looked a little different but were easy to get used to.

Bought to use with a rental bike that came with SPD mountain bike pedals. Attaches directly to my Sidi cycling shoes. I usually ride with Look Keo pedals. The in/out clip was a bit different from the looks, but it's easy to get used to. The floaters claimed are the same 4 degrees as my looks but it seemed to me that they had a lot more buoyancy. Could it be the pedals?

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • thin

Makes cycling easier

These spikes work very well. They were easy to attach to my Shimano shoes and fairly easy to attach to the pedals. You need to adjust them and you can just loosen the screws and move them horizontally or vertically. The only bad thing is the one I use on my left boat clicks great but comes off with great difficulty. I think it's probably just an alignment issue. On my long journeys they really help, especially when going uphill, which I often do.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good price easy to install and works as expected

I bought these boots for my running shoes and couldn't be happier. They were easy to install and went on and off with no problems. I'm even considering pedals for my road bike because I really like them. I thought I would have to pay a lot more for decent quality but I didn't find any faults or flaws with them. However, I don't run in cycling shoes yet and don't wear them outside yet. I don't compete in cycling either, but I ride six days a week and have had no problems with these spikes.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Null

I use them for spinning

There are 2 types of Shimano SPD cleats. These and SH56 (they have a capital "M" written on them). Both work with a Shimano SPD clamp. The difference, I'm told, is that the SH56 (not this one) is a light trigger, which I think is useful if you're afraid of falling and don't want your feet getting stuck in the pedal. It's not an easy solve, so they're useful for things like spin classes where (hopefully) there's no chance of you falling off. I have bought and tested both types (see my review on…
