🏒 Ultimate Defense for Hockey: Shock Doctor Pelvic Protector, Youth & Adult Review

I am in the SCA and I fight hard. I received several hard blows in the groin that could have injured me. I use my shock doctor with two pairs of underpants. one to keep them from rubbing against me and the other to hold a pair in place. It's holding up great and I'm grateful to have it.

I read reviews that the women's version was large and uncomfortable and the girls' version was ridiculously small for a woman. However, I used it until the bigger one came and I think it's ok. construction is good; it is difficult.

I was waiting to review this product because I wanted to make sure my daughter could wear it. This is her first year playing softball and I wanted something to protect her. We tried it and it really works, you don't even realize it's on her and it's very comfortable. Very happy with this purchase.

Used for airsoft. No special shorts were needed, I just wore them between two regular pairs of underwear. It rose a bit as I crawled across the floor but otherwise stayed in place well. I wore it for 2 days, 8 hours every day, comfortably, in fact a first day I forgot it was there until it fell out during a toilet break. Luckily, over the course of 16 hours of airsoft combat, it protected my girl pieces from all airsoft hits.

This was perfect for my 5 1/2 year old daughter for a tball where everyone has to carry a cup. She wears cycling shorts and underwear over it and it slides in between. Otherwise she had chafing on her thighs, when we did that with two pairs of underwear, the shorts helped a lot. She won't complain about it once we fix this system. Feel like it will work for a long time when needed for other sports.

Very good protection for a 9 year old hockey player. Fits good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the boys cup is a little firmer but my daughter loves it and said it's good to ride on. there are only shorts). I tried. I did all the tricks - put on compression shorts, sewn in the bag, etc. I do Krav Maga, so we're all very contact oriented, and I felt this pelvic protector just didn't fit. I'm also an average height female (5ft 6in, 150lbs) so it's not like I misjudged the height. He cut my groin muscles too hard.
