I have slightly weak ankles and have been taping my ankle for months so I wanted something similar but easier to use. This case was perfect in every way. It applies in just a few seconds, provides just the level of support and compression I need, and is washable so I don't have to constantly replace it like I did with the tape. I broke my ankle at the end of May and wasn't allowed to wear it until mid-July. The swelling made life so uncomfortable. In September I was back on my feet 12 hours a day as a nurse. This bandage kept the swelling under control throughout the shift. I then started walking again and was able to feel pretty good with this orthosis. I am very glad I purchased the Shock Doctor ankle sleeve. I've sprained my ankle multiple times over the past 20 years and this is the best thing I've used for both recovery and support during exercise (running, tennis, weightlifting, etc.). The straps are secure and tight and the sleeves are very comfortable (I wear them on the outside of the sock). I also like the white option.
