Short hose end makes hose connection difficult. The end of the connector is slightly larger, making it difficult to connect to the attachments, and they keep breaking. We are looking for the best product.

Completed my house dust collection system by connecting a 2-1/2" flex hose to a shop vacuum and belt sander. Withstands friction well. In a case when the outer diameter of the dust collector is slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the connector, one or two layers of electrical tape will solve the problem.

These appear to be good 2 1/2 hose adapters. They screw in and seem to stay in place. I still use parentheses. The only problem I have is the length. The items I received don't seem to be as long as the product image. I would have liked a longer item which I also bought from another seller on Revain. I converted my router table to connect to my 4" DC system so I could add some dust extraction under the table as I only had the Shop Vac dust collector on top of the table. I built a small manifold to adapt a 4" hose to two 2-1/2" fittings. They worked better than I expected. They fit perfectly with my "POWERTEC 70129 2-1/2" x 10ft PVC Flexible Dust Collection Hose Clear Color" that I got from Amazon. They also fit my original store bought hard vacuum hose, no hassles none Clamps and no tape. A simple twist counter-clockwise threads the hose ends on and you're done!.
