Trailer lock suitable for towing chucks and winches

The lock is very strong but the hitch lock shaft is too large in diameter for either of the two trailers I have, also the lock shaft has a groove on the nearer end which is on the Trailer locking mechanism snagged making removal difficult.

Pros
  • Packing Unit: 1
Cons
  • Functionality

too small too small for my two trailers

too small for most trailers. Unless you have a latch area that's only 0.25" thick, look elsewhere. You must make sure you do better homework than me before spending any money on this lock. the lock looks cheap and the key is even cheaply made

Pros
  • package weight: 1.0 lbs
Cons
  • safety

Didn't go well with my hitch lock

You may need a larger security lock to install a larger hitch latch. I would have had to cut the brass off the lock to fit, but that could expose or damage the lock parts, so I converted it to a smaller piece on another item to use. Master Lock makes a similar lock with a slightly wider gap, which works for me.

Pros
  • Product Type: FISHING TACKLE
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
