The threads will be closed! Best in tow products and winches

The first drawbar bolt I bought worked fine for a couple of months, then the threads caught when I tried to remove the bolt. I ended up having to cut the pin to remove it. I was stupid enough to buy the same product again and the same thing happened! I was about to cut a needle when the threads got stuck trying to remove the needle. Didn't over tighten. I will never buy this product again.

Does 3 jobs on Tier IV units, deserves my 5 stars.

I bought this to replace a class III lock of a similar design that was not long enough to fit my new class IV car. My kit didn't have a centering sleeve. I don't think it's necessary and reviewers said it rusts first so I think it was intentional. It would be nice if there was a cheaper wrench for the price. My last one did this so I will continue to use this key for it. All in all it fulfills 3 tasks and is easy to install. So I have to give 5 stars. It physically connects the ball joint toโ€ฆ

Rust and corrosion in the lock toggle switch.

Installed on a vehicle after purchase. Easy installation. Sprayed Cousin Inhibitor in a beaker. I took it off after 8 months and shook the key slightly to get it out, which surprised me as the keyhole is rubber sealed and still has anti-corrosive in it. Added more, used the key until it was a smooth unlock. Installed in another car. Took it off tonight after driving in this car for a year. The glass froze in place. I can't even get the key in the past. A used lockpick, and each pin is immobile.

Pros
  • Heavy finish
Cons
  • Expensive

Rusts quickly, short-lived, inferior and too expensive

Works. He took out the rattle. But it didn't last long. The castle held out for several months before one day it simply collapsed. I installed it correctly and can only assume it found too many potholes and popped out. The pin itself is strong and I added a stainless steel washer to protect my receiver from the spring washer. But the whole thing is very rusty. The block and spring are rusted inside the ball joint, the pin and spring washer are badly rusted outside the coupler, and I don't knowโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Not suitable for quality or size

Good idea but needs improvement. I will list my problems. 1) I have a 2019 Sante Fe XL and a trailer for it. I mounts behind the rear bumper and can be hidden when you reinstall the bumper cover. Great form but no function. By being pushed backwards, it is difficult to insert the coupling bolt, and even more so with a bolt lock. The lock for this item will not work as it is too thick at the back and hitting the tow hitch crossbar. If the pin hole was a bit further forward there would be noโ€ฆ

Not exactly quiet but a big improvement

I've seen previous reviews saying the tracks are sticky, annoying and sticky. This is a product that is outdoors and exposed to the elements. Knowing this, I lightly coated the threads with wheel bearing grease when installing and they were buttery smooth. When I took it off, same thing - a socket wrench was enough to loosen it a bit and then unscrew the rest with my fingers. I've also seen some fairly old reviews that said MFR knew it was a design flaw so they changed the threads to fineโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Vulgarity

DO NOT BUY! JOIN THE TRAILER! WARNING!$

First off, it technically works. It pulled my noisy trailer safely, tightly, and quietly, and I fell in love with it in my first year of only using it on weekend trips. If you plan on using it ONLY for a short time during the summer, it's probably safe to use as long as you take it off after EVERY use. However, I wouldn't recommend leaving it hitch mounted for more than a couple of weeks in good weather. After mine had endured all winter on salty roads, the INNER SHELL connected the COUPLINGโ€ฆ
