My SM58 broke after a few years and I temporarily needed a cheaper replacement. That's when I came across this microphone. It is very similar to sm58. The sound quality is about the same, the build quality is about the same, and it even has an on/off switch! This mic is a little more sensitive to explosives, but I can handle it! This is a great mic at a ridiculously low price.

Excellent Shure quality and durability. Doesn't sound as good as the 100€ models, but still high quality. We use it for documentaries and it gives us great results. In addition, it has been dropped and dragged several times and is still in perfect condition. The only drawback is the on/off button. Now it's very "clicky" so you can't be sure if it's off or on. It is secured with a piece of tape over the button. Very important!

That's the way it is with this microphone. It's from Shure, which undoubtedly means it has excellent build quality and is made from premium materials. However, it has a TERRIBLE running noise and the built-in wind/pop filter isn't very effective. I had problems connecting 2 microphones with 1/4" mono jacks to the mixer. I tried a 1/4" mono to XLR adapter, but they didn't help. Work.
