Good quality and good price

This exhaust manifold is very good, all mating surfaces appear to be correct, nice and smooth, gaskets, screws and all plugs are included!

Pros
  • 1 year trial period
Cons
  • No insurance

High quality replacement part at an affordable price.

Ideal for the intended purpose. All necessary parts were there. Simply sand the paint off the sealing surfaces and install. IMO, just as good a part as OEM.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • old

Perfect for my 1998 5.7 Mercruiser

Arrived very quickly with my main membership. It was an exact fit and came with a gasket for the exhaust and riser side. No problems installing. My boat is working properly again. Save some money, get it here. Update: Although it is varnished, you will need to give it a good coat of black varnish before installing it. It started to rust after being hit at bay with factory paint a few times.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Quality construction with high quality finishes.

Of course, time will tell how well they last, but anyone who buys them knows they'll never last as long as we'd like. Marine engines seem insanely primitive in design. It's one thing to pack such heavy parts into a boat and expect it to float, but then swapping them out every 5-7 years seems crazy. But that's what it takes to own a boat. These manifolds come with everything you need including quality riser seals.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Tradable

Fits perfectly. 1982 5.7 liter Mercruiser.

My only suggestion is to forgo using the mounting bolts that come with each header and instead buy 3/8 x 16 fully threaded bolts of the same length. I bought 4 of these distributors to use in my 1982 Trojan 36' Tri cab with twin 5.7 liter 260hp Mercruiser engines. The manifolds fit perfectly and with the help of studs I was able to put the new gaskets on, then put on the manifold, the washer, then the lock washer and then the nut. Tighten them all and the distributor was on. Less than an hour…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Low repairability

Quality item, fast delivery, remember to prepare it.

Well after 35 years it looks like my factory Mercruiser headers have finally given up. Sierra headers are a quality replacement. NOTE. I ordered 2 collectors. Both came with a manifold to head gasket, a manifold to riser gasket, steel and brass plugs for all connections, a lower plastic elbow with drain and screws that go into the head. The kit did not include riser bolts, which I assume are not used in all installations. My local ACE gear had cleats that worked perfectly. NOTE #2: The surfaces

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not Happy
