Great deal with one important but.

I have about nine binoculars and these are the best optical qualities. Amazing optics with a nice big sweet spot and edge sharpness. Lots of WOW factor, like really expensive binoculars. The first reviewer pretty much described everything about these containers. One of the best binoculars I've ever used. If there is one real downside it is that the focuser gets stiff in cold temperatures and in my opinion is too stiff for cold climates hence I downgraded this rating to 4 stars. Buy these…

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Bought as a gift after really liking my own pair. In comparison with several other pairs in parallel, they were the same in contrast, sharpness and color saturation, and some well-known brands cost 2-3 times more. They're slightly better than the $100 binoculars I've used as my regular pair for several years, even though they have 50mm lenses. When compared to high-end binoculars such as those made by Swarovski, you can see the difference in clarity, particularly in low light, in Swarovski's…

I was looking for good 8x32 binoculars and came across a bird forum.

I was looking for a good pair of 8x32 binoculars and came across a discussion about this model on a bird forum. I bought a pair to see what all the fuss was about. Good lightweight binoculars with very good optics. I compared them to the Vortex 7x36 Diamond Cap and they are definitely better. Good picture and I particularly liked how well they handle glare. Staring down the road at night through the headlights of oncoming cars was way better than a diamond back. I found their low light…

Great binoculars for eyeglass wearers

As mentioned these are amazing binoculars for the price. The main reason I bought them is the large eye relief. These are the only 8x32 binoculars I've tried that I can comfortably wear with my glasses. I use them for bird watching. They have a bright and clear look, are light and, thanks to the split bridge, are very comfortable to hold. Focus is smooth and the eyecups are comfortable, having four stops instead of the usual two for this price range. The field of view is excellent. At the same…

Great $500 binoculars for $175

I first heard about these binoculars while looking online for a pair under $500 for a Christmas present. Everything I have read or seen has found them to be the most beneficial for your category. I kept reading that they would perform as well or better than binoculars that cost $100-$200 more. When the binoculars arrived I compared them to the Celestron Nature DX 8x42, Athlon Midas 8x42, Carson 3d ED 8x42 and Zeiss Terra ED 8x42. For comparison, four family members and I looked through each…

  • New to my collection

Great overall package at any price!

In my endless search for the perfect binocular, I've ventured far from the mainstream binocular market. The name "Sightron" is unfamiliar to most ornithologists, but hunters in the USA are very familiar with their optics, having been making quality optics for many years. Admittedly I didn't know much about Sightron other than seeing random posts referencing their scopes on 24hourcampfire. I never thought they would make binoculars let alone one that I would eventually try. What led me to them…

  • Brilliantly made

  • It's hard to remember, but it was
