Bought as a gift after really liking my own pair. In comparison with several other pairs in parallel, they were the same in contrast, sharpness and color saturation, and some well-known brands cost 2-3 times more. They're slightly better than the $100 binoculars I've used as my regular pair for several years, even though they have 50mm lenses. When compared to high-end binoculars such as those made by Swarovski, you can see the difference in clarity, particularly in low light, in Swarovski's favour. Sightron scopes are lightweight, comfortable to hold and have easily adjustable eyecups. The eye relief is adequate for use with glasses (although I prefer to wear them without glasses). They really are remarkably good for the price, a great choice for birding and general use, one of the best performers available for less than $500.
