Fast, sharp and amazing results

This lens is heavy and slightly longer than the Canon version thanks to the built-in adapter. Eye AF works very well on the 6400 and A7III. The only thing I can complain about is that it is very heavy.

Pros
  • even the old-fashioned can understand
Cons
  • Some little things

Well built and handsome

Very nice lens and bright! Very happy. I have a full set of Sigma Art lenses for my A7III and I really like them. I wish they were a little better at focus tracking for video, but they're pretty good. The lens is quite big and heavy, but I like it. Feels well built and solid instead of cheap and flimsy. Feels like a professional lens. And it looks like it too.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • It was possible to choose a newer model

Excellent lens, the only real option for Sony FE other than Sony glass

Cheaper than the Sony version and the lens is excellent. It's massive, but still smaller than a Sony lens. I partially switched to Sony to save weight and space, so I'm glad it's smaller and lighter, even if it's relatively large. Image quality is excellent and full-length portraits look fantastic on the 135mm f/1.8 lens.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Amazing image quality, second best portrait lens.

I'd call it a dead link between this and the Sony 135GM for second best portrait lens, beaten only by the magic of the original Carl Zeiss 135f1.8. This lens is sharp, the colors are superb and there is almost no deviation. It focuses faster than expected and the bokeh is exceptional. I've used it for portraits, weddings, wildlife and even sports. I shoot with several other fast primes, but this one is always the most commonly used. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Negative Impression

Super Sharp, Extreme IQ

Day and Night compared to the same brand 35mm f1.4Art lens. This is the sharpest lens I have. I was afraid the lens wouldn't autofocus, but when I set it to 1.5-infinity autofocus I had no problem being able to follow birds and that I'm not that pro at telephoto lenses! A good buy without a doubt, thanks to Sigma for this work of art. Not to mention I chose the lens for its price and because it's almost on par with the Sony, half the price of the Sony GM variant, almost the same quality.

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Anything I can add

First impression, A+

I'm using this with an A7R III and the only gripe I have so far is that the autofocus speed compared to the Sony 85 for example isn't 1.8 is super fast. However, it's fast enough to keep up with humans (active cats are a bit more difficult!). BUT! The image of this animal is magical. It's a heavier lens, but it feels good in the hand and offers a truly unique image that combines lens compression and killer depth of field. Obviously great for drawing backgrounds and pretty close focused for…

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
