worth the extra cost

I have been using Jobst for 25 years and have had polio and severe varicose veins and decided to try them. Two things really struck me about them: first, they're easier to put on and take off, and second, they have better silicone dots that actually hold them in place without glue. Even if they don't last longer, these two things are worth the difference in price. My only regret is that I didn't try them years ago because it's a lot of work putting on compression stockings every day and…

  • Exorbitant price

I suffer from lymphedema mainly in the lower part of my right leg. I usually have to change the compression hose about every 3-6 months. SIGVARIS is the only good quality brand I know. A little advice on how to help save them. After hand washing and drying them, dampen a paper towel with some rubbing alcohol and wipe the silicone tabs. This will help remove oils that might prevent slipping. It really helps. It also helps a lot to avoid slipping down the leg when tightening. And wear rubber…

FIT AND FEEL LIKE A DREAM! Absolutely perfect!

You get what you pay for and this is a very good example of that common truth. They are so superior to any other brand of compression stockings available from Revain that I don't even want to comment on them because they have no flaws to comment on. Just nice springy support and an easy, non-dramatic tightening that feels like a no-brainer compared to other brands with the same compression ratio. The only wish is that they also come in black. This is your health and your life, so do it…

Good quality/comfortable

I used them after the operation, they are strong and good quality, I hardly took them off for 3 weeks, I only needed one, now I use another one for the same leg , one used for sports, the other for occasional walks during the day. They stayed really well and fitted well. Be sure to measure me m 5.8 and 160 and I bought Long / M it fit perfectly without pinching me, after a few weeks they lose a little because they adapt completely to your foot. Never wash in washing machine, otherwise they…

Comfortable, easy to slip on and incredibly durable.

I have been wearing compression stockings for about 10 years and keep buying Jobst brand stockings for their value (fairly good quality at a reasonable price). In the end I decided to pay for the best quality stockings and chose them from Sigvaris based on the product description and reviews. They are much more comfortable, easier to put on and have really withstood bumps and runs after a few tries by my cat who loves to use me as a scratching post! My legs have bleeding holes but the tube is…

Fits better than others.

What makes these stockings fit better than the others is that the ankle, calf and thigh measurements allow me to choose a size that fits perfectly so the compression is even throughout the leg. After vein surgery, the doctor gave me compression stockings from a different brand that didn't fit. Inadequate assistants only measured my thighs and even then the stockings "cut" (big red welts) into my thighs, which is a real hurdle when you can't take them off because you don't have a spare pair…
